Active since 2006 on the music scene, notably through his hip hop band Dézuets d'Plingrés,Téhu has quickly earned a reputation for the originality of his shows, with a complete musical performance / improvisation formula that combines funk, trip-hop, jazz and electronic atmospheres. Known Internationally for his talents as a live beat drumming artist, Tehu is also a multi-instrumentalist, who managed to create a hybrid formula between a DJ set and a musical performance, making a place for himself in the Montreal music scene. His works have been featured on labels such as Unlog, Millennium Jazz Music, Tour de Manège and Cafe del Mar. Influenced by the work of artists such as Bonobo, Herbie Hancock and Radiohead, he released in 2016 his first solo project "EP Boulevard", quickly followed by a second volume. Both projects pay tribute to the electric pianos of the 70s, to the art of live beatmaking that he has been practicing for years, but above all an amalgam of various influences impeccably woven into a soundtrack that is both familiar and original.
