Born in Kansas City, Kansas, raised in Yonkers, New York, 20 year old Angelo Torres (Gelo) calls NY his home, although based out of Florida. Always had a heart for music to some extent. Whether torrenting the latest songs before official release, creating mixes with his dad, learning instruments or memorizing every lyric to any song. His mind, heart & soul revolved around music. He learned instruments from saxophone to guitar & piano. Wanting to know as much he can about composition and producing. He started producing at the age of 14. Creating mediocre beats, but his family saw his passion to make something enjoyable. His family bought him a laptop and FL Studio 10, which was the beginning. He dove straight into it, immersing himself in the program. Releasing beat tapes and instrumentals for years until some friends of his talked him into writing a rap. And the rest is as you know it. Growing up, music was a constant substance. Being raised to the sounds of Lil Wayne, Drake, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Eminem, Jay Z etc. music has always been in his heart. But when he moved to Florida, He came to know God and listened to lots of Christian Hip Hop. Names like Lecrae, Andy Mineo, KB and so on have always kept him a loyal fan, but now with others like Joey Jewish, nobigdyl, WHATUPRG and more, he has a melting pot of artist that inspire with their skills and lives. And with that, he wants to pursue this career while sharing the Love of God and his testimony to those who listen.
