Hailing from South London and Cologne, Syrup consists of producer Twit One, pianist & singer C.Tappin and rapper Turt (Summers Sons). Located between Rap and Soul, they call their sound Cool Bap. Their forthcoming album 'The Questions' will be out on June 2nd. Their last project 'Rosy Lee' has been released in 2020 and quickly became a classic among fans and tastemakers. Twit, Turt and Tappin first met at a club in Bristol some years ago, where Twit played a DJ gig. They quickly became friends and have been working on music together ever since. In 2017 Twit brought Turt and Tappin over to Cologne to perform at the legendary Radio Love Love boat party. In the same year Summers Sons released 'Undertones', their first EP for Melting Pot Music, followed by 'Uhuru' (2018) - a collaborative album with Tappin - 'The Rain' (2019) and 'Nostalgia' (2021) as well as C.Tappin's debut EP 'Ashes to Ashes' (2019). Twit One has been releasing music since 2007. His catalogue is too large to fit into this box but there is a good chance that one of his records has rotating on your record player.
