Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, deborah. has spent much of her life performing on stage since elementary school. She is a vocalist whose song interpretation and stage presence are filled with expression and nuance reflective of the character she portrays within a production. With a comfortable four-range octave, deborah. has sung across musical genres and is at home performing in off-Broadway plays as well as in Opera houses. Her passion, however, is Opera. She made her professional chorus debut in Opera Colorado’s production of Carmen and a CD recording of Gerald Cohen’s Steal a Pencil For Me, as a chorus role. Upon taking a leave from graduate studies in 2021, deborah. performed with The Eagles on their “Hotel California Tour” with the Evan’s Choir. When she is not on stage, deborah. enjoys composing original music and writing poetry. Her music hopes to evoke a sense of wonder and creativity in the listener while adding notes of grit and realistic scenarios for a combination of true individuality for both the artist and listener alike.
