Biography

Fake Shamans are a duo from Lahore, Pakistan, and has incredible passion and love for electronic music that has pushed them to create their own imprint and ensure a place in the electronic music industry with an innovative and fresh sound. Their musical spectrum is somewhere between Shamanic drums, Oriental Melodies, and Wholesome Emotions with the presence of tiny dark tastes and of course: Groove Fake Shamans have worked with multiple classical Pakistani artists to create Sufi-fusion with Electronic music. They collaborated and performed a live set with brilliant musicians like Aizaz Sohail, Rakae Jamil, and Farhan Ali. They have also showcased on some of the biggest platforms locally and Internationally like 5 Senses Thailand, Kerfuffle Cambodia, Pisco Bar Malaysia, Salt Arts, and Ministry of Sound. Fake Shamans have been touring across Asia since early 2019 and one of the most exciting projects they recently worked on was for The New York time journalist Ian Urbina in which they created music through Journalism for a groundbreaking project “The Outlaw Ocean”
