Chang Jing, one of the best Guzheng players in the new generation. Chang Jing was born in Chengdu, China, at the age of 8 she began studying Guzheng. She graduates from China Conservatory of Music. Chang Jing is the royal Guzheng music teacher of the princess of Thailand. Chang Jing broke the traditional way in playing Guzheng. She interprets the sound of Guzheng with her own graceful style. Her masterful skill brings Guzheng performance to a higher level that is unique and dynamics. After her excellent solo performance of "Moonlight Night On the Spring River" at the opening ceremony of 2008 Beijing Olympics Game, Chang Jing started to fuse her modern music form with deeper essential spirit of the civilization from Tang and Song dynasty, established a whole new Chinese music dream with Guzheng, Vocal, Cello,Xiao,Piano and Chinese percussion. Chang Jing has produced and published new music albums such like Cranes Flying, Inner Tranquility< China Blue, Sound of The Wildernese. Chang Jing has cooperated with worldwide known music masters and symphony orchestras. She performed in "Ritual Music ---- Zheng Concerto" with conductor Mr. Lorin Maazel, "Iris dévoilée" with National Orchestra of France. CHANG Jing also participates in new age, jazz and rock with artists such like Yanni and pianist Richard Clayderman etc. CHANG Jing gives excellent Guzheng solos in filems as well, such like ZHANG Yimou's film "Hawthorn Tree Forever " and Wong Kar-wai's film "Ashes of Time".
