Gidi Farhi is an Israeli-born Bass Player, lives today in Berlin. On his early years was interested in Jazz, Blues, Oriental and classical Indian music. Today he is most involved in live-composing and in what he refers to as the 'inner dance' within the music. Between 2009-2012 he was part of the Berlin-based Bluegrass band Wabash with whom he released 2 Albums. Starting 2016 the call of Songwriting had become prominent for him. Since then he released few singles, his own Cookie Jar and Spree Blues, as well as few singles with his life-long friend Oren Hershkovitz. On 2022 he released his EP with Nishad Pandey. Gidi is a member of the live composing trio Genes, with whom they released two Albums.
