Biography

Brendon Tayler (born December 9, 1999) is a rapper, producer, and engineer from the south of Johannesburg, South Africa. His passion for music began in elementary school at age 11, starting with freestyle rapping with friends during recess. In 9th grade, he started composing his own beats and joined the group Special Breed, alongside artists Juuce, Jareed Odem, and GAJ. Initially focused on rapping, Brendon's passion shifted towards production. After Special Breed disbanded in 2018, he released a mixtape titled "Please Forgive Me" exclusively on SoundCloud. During his first year of studies, he connected with artists Wolffisdead, The Mav, and producer Moëtt. In 2019, he followed up with an EP titled "Ask About Me." Brendon has since released numerous singles and two mixtapes, "Demo" and "Demo 2." In 2020, he released a full-length project titled "Bad Posture," and in 2021, he collaborated with Wolffisdead on "IMAGINARY FRIENDS." In 2022, he released the album "Teenage Love 2." Most recently, he released a prelude album titled "Before the Hype," leading up to his upcoming album "Believe the Hype."
