The „Jazz-Brothers“ Julian & Roman Wasserfuhr have made an inseparable pair. Their (soul) kinship has been a benefit to their performance together. The degree of trust between the brothers has lent their music a relaxed and unforced character. After their highly regarded debut, Remember Chet, which they recorded as teenagers, they set out across the German jazz landscape. Soon they were playing together with greats like Nils Landgren, Lars Danielsson or Wolfgang Haffner and at the same time they were finding their way to their own, characteristic, melodic and atmospheric “Wasserfuhr sound.” Today, Julian & Roman Wasserfuhr are among the most renowned jazz musicians in Germany. After six successful albums, they are now among the most renowned jazz musicians in Germany. Their musical journeys have taken them to Gothenburg, Sweden (2009), urban New York (2017), and the picturesque west coast of Ireland, among other places. "Mosaic", the name of the Wasserfuhr brothers' new album, describes their musical processing of the last two years. As different as the individual tracks and the associated emotions, as well as the selection of musicians and friends are on this album, it gives a coherent picture.
