Damla Bozkurt was born on November 29, 1981, in Kütahya. In 1992, she started to study violin at “Bilkent University Music Preparatory School” with Prof. Engin Eralp. Between 1995 and 2002, played in Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2002, she was graduated from Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts. In July 2000, she was chosen to play in “Mediterrenean Youth Symphony Orchestra” and performed in many countries. In 2002, attended “1st International Schwetzingen Summer Academy” and studied with Prof. Joshua Epstein and Prof. Philippe Deschamps. In 2008 she attended “İKSEV Violin Master Class” and studied with Prof. Joshua Epstein and Tuncay Yılmaz. In August 2008, she attended 4. International Schwetzingen-Worms Summer Academy” and she performed in concerts as a student of Prof. Joshua Epstein. Since 2003, she has been working as a violin player in ‘’Orkestra Akademik Başkent’’ in Başkent University State Conservatory.
