Sunya is a band from Lisbon, which began in 2004 and that has been playing all around the country, and most recently, also in Spain. The band’s discography is composed by the EPs Reflection (2005), Time (2007), Sweet Revenge (2009), Zodiac (2011) and the most recent album Missing Piece (2015). Currently, Sunya is preparing its following album, with an upcoming release. Reflection and Sweet Revenge (2009) were recorded and produced by Sunya; Zodiac was produced by Fernando Matias, and Missing Piece is the album which has the participation of Pedro Pina, and was captured and produced by Paulão Vieira. The mix and mastering were done by Daniel Cardoso (Anathema). Although the band began its history in 2004, Sunya settled its current line up in 2015, with Kaddy Xavier as lead singer, Andreia Ferreira on drums, César Byrne and Sérgio Clemente on guitars, Hugo Alexandre on bass, and Nuno Valente on keys. For Sunya, the main focus is to remain connected to what they feel every time they get together to compose, rehearse ou climb on stage, and the energy that the band gets every time they do it. This year, the band completes 15 years of existence, and they expect a year of new stages and themes to share with all of Sunya’s supporters. Welcome to our family!
