Songwriter, producer, singer, rapper, guitarist, and bassist. Jah-Sol is a force all his own. He has preformed on stage with funk greats, The New Master Sounds, and opened for international legends The Cat Empire. He’s also played over 100 gigs at venues like Brooklyn Steel, Joe’s Pub, Brooklyn Bowl and Rockwood Music Hall along with events like The BET Experience and Maplewoodfest. Jah-Sol started playing guitar at 6 and started his first band, Control the Sound, at 9. With his band or on his own, Jah-sol is a song stylist and fiery performer who has grown up creating and collaborating in Brooklyn's vibrant music scene. His inspiration comes from everywhere as he’s admired artists like D’Angelo and The Roots to Portishead, Parliament and Pharell. His unique sound blends R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk and Rock. Never afraid to explore new sounds or tap into different genre's, no one else sounds anything like Jah-sol.
