Christoph Kaindlbauer aka Hertenfels was born in Styria,Austria 1977. Grown up with a brother owning a discotheque,life brought music into his universe very soon. From the beginning very fascinated by different styles he made his way through the mainstream pop to reggae and metal before he found the different styles of electronic music. This all peaks into creating one of the most complex artforms of music....drum and bass. The name is inspired by a middle age blue blood family whose castle was called “Hertenfels”, it is located near the place he grew up.
