Kero Uno is a musician from the California Bay Area who fell in love with vintage jazz/soul/funk from a young age. Aka Kero One for most of his career as a triple threat rapper/producer/dj known for reviving the jazz hiphop / lofi sound, Kero released his self-produced single “Check the Blueprints” in 2003 and quickly found underground fame in Japan and even recognized by the then virtually unknown Nujabes. From cosigns by Stevie Wonder to producing a #1 hit song in Korea for K-pop artists, Kero always remained independent, underground and true to his jazzy and vibey sound. In 2015, Kero Uno decided to go full steam as a producer and released his first album "Reflection Eternal" (watch the making of on YouTube), fusing his love for vintage sounds with modern soundscapes and catchy vocals. Per usual, Kero infused his keyboard, bass, and percussion playing abilities with vintage drum sounds and thoughtful arrangements but this time working with other vocalists. The album showed up on Reddits best of 2015 albums, featured on TV shows and was even in the playlist of Kpop superstar V from BTS.
