Matt Farley is the prolific artist behind such bizarre acts as The Toilet Bowl Cleaners, The Strange Man Who Sings About Dead Animals, Papa Razzi and the Photogs, The Passionate & Objective Jokerfan, and dozens more. When he isn't writing thousands of strange novelty songs, he writes straightforward, personal songs under the moniker Matt Motern Manly Man. It started in 2015 with Joyous Cackle!, which featured Motern classics like Plow Guy Hit My Garage and Shorts Too High. The album's best songs tell compelling true stories from Farley's life. In 2016, he released Motern Heartburn, an outstanding album that is only available on vinyl. The following year, he got more poetic with Delicate Genius / Thirsty Killer. Highlights include the two titles tracks which are stirring and goofily bombastic, respectively.
