Biography

Randi Gauvin, A.K.A. Big Mama Trahma, represents Tucson, Arizona as one of the premiere hip hop artists of the city. With only three years of experience in the industry, Trahma has already made massive strides in her career, garnering attention from the likes of No Jumper and rising record label, Only Dreamers. As the self proclaimed “okayest and gayest rapper,” her secret to success not only comes from her friendly and playful demeanor but also her ability to express her vulnerability and hardships through sharp lyrical prowess and storytelling. This has made Trahma sort of a hometown hero, inspiring many to pursue their dreams despite whatever obstacles that lie ahead. Trahma’s music comes directly from the heart; songs like “My World” describe her everyday struggles of her grind while “Felon” explains her past mistakes while also claiming her spot as emcee looking to shine. The world seems to be responding to Trahma’s efforts as she has seen covers for several blogs and has been featured on hot 98.3 in Tucson. Trahma is a student of the game, constantly learning more and more as time goes on. She has the right people in her corner with a fanbase that only continues to grow as more people are introduced to her efforts. With more music and content on the way, it is clear that Trahma isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
