Nav Nav is an up and coming UK artist who crosses into many different genres with a smooth and sophisticated flow. Born in Aston, Birmingham, Nav has grown up listening to an eclectic sound of music through her childhood and youth. Nav first learned of her passion for rapping and being and M.C. at a local youth club where she honed her skills as she matured into a young adult. From there, Nav has continued to work to achieve a unique and individual sound and flow to carve out har path in the music industry. First rapping about her experiences and the things that she saw growing up in Aston at a time where many of her friends were being lost to the streets, Nav started spending time in the studio where she started to lay down tracks taking from her musical influences. Nav took a short break from making music to recover from an aggressive form of Cancer that has helped to influence and shape the way that she approaches and makes her music now – without music Nav felt like she wouldn’t have pulled through and in her words “when words fail, music speaks”.
