Our name is Automatic Ape and we are a progressive metal trio formed by three lunatic, bipolar and obsessive apes. We are Joel (drums), Marc (bass) & Sergi (vocals, guitar and synths). And yeah, we love metal, we love it in all shapes and sizes, from the pioneers who created the style to the most extreme bands of our days. Therefore, our influences are very diverse and so is our style. When it comes to making music we are quite spontaneous and open minded. We are aware that our music is hard to define and we don't fit in any particular genre, but if you like metal or alt rock, you might find some of our stuff interesting and appealing.
