This is the section where I’d typically make a joke or say something sarcastic. I do that because it’s easier for me, I play it safe that way. But I don’t want to play it safe anymore. Besides… there’s no such thing as safe. I’m tired of hiding, pretending, and feeling like I’m not enough. I like what I’ve got, what we’re doing in this band… I believe in this. I drive around Los Angeles listening to demos of the songs we’re working on and I’ll be damned if our songs don’t speak to me and pull me up out of the ditch some days. These songs and these guys have given me something to look forward to and have helped me heal. We all have that song, that band, or that record that got us through that time we didn’t think we’d survive. Well, The Pride has been that band for me. This band got me through some hard times, and if you’re going through it we hope our songs help you to keep going. -xoxo Daniel
