Biography

Sharon grew up in North Wales PA, just outside of Philadelphia. Her earliest performances were at local cafes, later expanding into the city where she met the producer for her first album, Perfect Time For a Breakdown. The album caught the attention of CBS Records, who signed Sharon to release the project. Within weeks of its release Sharon was chosen by Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, and T Bone Burnett to open their Raising Sand U.S. Tour. Her music from that era has been ubiquitous on television. The opening track from Perfect Time For a Breakdown, “Follow That Sound” became the theme for The Cleaner on A&E, and she performed another track from the same album, “Spaceship” for an episode of CSI: NY. Her songs have also been featured on NCIS, The Good Wife, Ghost Whisperer, and NUMB3RS.
In 2011, CBS Records closed abruptly, canceling Sharon’s album in progress, Paper Doll. After a period of reflection and exploration, Sharon released her independent album titled Hole in My Heart. In 2019, she signed with Winding Way Records to release her new album “Another Galaxy”. Sharon is working with Grammy nominated and award-winning producer Tim Sonnefeld (Elvis Costello – “Look Now”, Usher – “Raymond V Raymond”, Dixie Hummingbirds – “Last man standing”, Wanderlust)
Sharon's new EP "Another Galaxy" droped as 5 powerful new singles throughout 2021-2022 and is packaged with Hole in My Heart in a beautiful 24 page, two-CD table book and streaming album.
