JayKhimani aka Khimani is a Beat Maker from Portmore, Jamaica. During high school he hung around the school band, which is where he learned to play the drums and later the piano. JayKhimani would practice at his church and learn new things from the school band. In the ninth grade, Khimani met an artist at his church who goes by the names I-Cure, he introduced him to making beats. He would then get a copy of FL Studio and fell in love because he could make the things he couldn’t play live, it made him feel like there wasn’t a limit to what he could create. Khimani continued to make beats for fun up until the summer of my high school graduation, where he met MayRock while playing an online game. They linked on Skype and because they both made beats they did a beat collaboration which was later uploaded it to YouTube under the name “Wings”. This was the first time Khimani let the world hear what he could do. MayRock was the one that introduced Khimani to the idea of selling beats. Eventually, He realized that this business was more complex than he could understand. He was going to give it up until HDKyle came along. He was interested in music as well, especially the engineering and producing aspects and took it upon himself to learn and understand the business. Since then Khimani has made beats for Langi, Prince Chris, Qnique, Safe Side Music and many others. He also produced a couple of tracks, his favorites so far are, Vibez by Ratigan & No Complaining by Vettron.
