Biography

Jessica Harrie is a freelance clarinetist and teacher in the Columbus, Ohio area. Jessica is the Executive Director of the International Clarinet Association. She is a D'Addario Performing Artist. Harrie received her DMA in performance from Michigan State University, her MA in performance from Middle Tennessee State University and her BM in music education and performance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her primary teachers include Guy Yehuda, Ted Oien, Caroline Hartig, Todd Waldecker and Gary Sperl. Harrie has performed throughout the US, Puerto Rico, China, Hong Kong, Belgium, France and Seoul, South Korea. Outside of her solo performances, Harrie is a founding member of the Vier Vrienden Clarinet Quartet and the Mementos Trio (clarinet, cello and piano) and she works to promote music, both old and new for these ensembles. She performs as a member of the VGM collection Coin Op. Studios.
