Tyler Shiffer (also known by his stage name Phocust) is an American bass music producer and DJ, most commonly recognized for his iconic Dubstep sound. His unique style has gained support from the likes of Excision, DIESEL, ILLENIUM and many others. Playing at a handful of clubs and festivals around the globe, Phocust has shared the bill with lots of recognizable acts such as deadmau5, Tiësto, Virtual Riot, Zeds Dead, Liquid Stranger, Sullivan King, & Wooli among others. In 2023 Phocust took to new heights as he supported Ace Aura on his Crystal Coalition Tour across North America following their big collaboration Spirit Showdown. Phocust accompanied that with his Showtime EP on Circus Records featuring the hit single Step with Evalution. Soaring higher again, Tyler later released his International Anthem (Phocust Remix) of Flux Pavilion which made UKF's "Best of Dubstep" for 2023. Closing the year strong, Phocust was hand-picked by Zomboy as the winner of Insomniac's Discovery Project competition giving him the chance to take the stage at the first ever Apocalypse: Zombieland Music Festival. Starting off 2024 with his tracks Rage & Halo Beam, Phocust shows us a more heavier side of his sound design. Following suit alongside that, he released Neon Flex (with MIKESH!FT) which was Tyler's first ever release on Excision's record label Subsidia. Now fully spreading his wings & ready to fly, Phocust brings us his Volare EP featuring the hit single Hollow with Cafe Disko & AUDIA.
