Brought up by the classics, Ben Sigrah traded his classically trained ear for the tricky- deep sounds of electronically produced music at an early age. After discovering highly technical genres like Jungle and Drum & Bass, he strayed from the rigorous training of orchestral performance and found himself in front of a computer. With nearly 10 years of music production under his belt, this US-based producer has continually made his mark on the bass music world with sounds entirely unique to himself. His diverse production chops are ever-present, whether on an ethereal jungle roller or a chunky neuro hip-hop beat, Sigrah’s range is displayed through his diverse catalog spanning labels like Rogue Dubs, STYLSS, Aufect, and most recently, his collaboration with ONHELL on Astrophonica’s Gradients Vol. 2 Compilation.
