Born and raised in Canberra, Rachel enlisted into the Army as a Musician. It was soon after that Rachel sang on stage with many famous Australian artists for the Tour of Duty concert in Timor-Leste. Rachel was also blessed to perform in Gallipoli for Anzac Day. 
 Rachel has released and contributed to several album recordings over the years including her debut solo album “Identity” in 2018 comprising of three of her own and the others by her dear friend Michael Dooley. It was through the process of this album that Rachel felt a deep longing to discover more of who she was, and soon after found her husband and accepted Christ into her life.
