Growing up in Pensacola, Florida meant there were only a few options. You either stick to the streets or beat the statistics and make a change for the better. Rapper D-TAE was destined for the latter. In order to stay out of the streets, D-Tae picked up various hobbies that eventually led him to his passion for writing and recording music. Growing up as a star athlete in his hometown. D-Tae learned how to channel his time and emotions in productive ways. This ability to focus his energy, allowed him to utilize the pain he was experiencing to fuel his writing. From that moment forward, he spent countless hours writing and recording. D-Tae is hoping to make 2021 his year with plans to drop multiple albums and singles that are bound to gain exposure and recognition. He owes his success to not only himself for his immense dedication to his craft, but also the friends and family who have uplifted him on this journey.
