Kevon Carter is a Trinidadian born multifaceted vocalist, songwriter, entertainer, & recording artist. At a very young age Carter realised his creative ability with music through play. His spontaneous compositions on the guitar highlighted an area of definite skill. At the age of 17, he left his home island Trinidad & Tobago, and migrated to the United States. Observing the dynamic culture shock that is New York City, he embraced the change of environment and noted it as a 'new' chapter of his life. Carter defined himself as both a product of his West Indian roots and that of the New York melting pot in which he had instantly connected. Carter has performed throughout some of the Caribbean islands & North America over the past 15 plus years for several events whether it be corporate, jazz festivals, birthday/anniversary parties, wedding receptions, headlined his own concerts singing a wide range of music in the genres of pop, rnb, soul, classics, reggae, soca, retro, and christmas music, in addition to recording original song material. Staying true to his craft, he is constantly working on new songs, displaying his versatility that draws its inspiration from his unique and intriguing personal experiences.
