One Truly Inspired Soul, also known as OTIS, is a 27 year old emcee hailing from Denver, Colorado. OTIS has been a major fan, as well as a student to the hip hop culture since infancy. Born in September of 1995, OTIS has been surrounded by music since day 1. In 2001, OTIS began to draw influence from the hip hop culture to which he was infatuated with. Some of the first artists to influence OTIS' love for hip hop were 50 Cent, Nas, Jay Z, and Outkast. Adding to the list of inspirational influences today would be artists with the likes of Logic, Dizzy Wright, Mac Miller, J. Cole, etc. OTIS consistently aims to deliver a strong, smooth, fun, unique flow in which he incorporates a diverse array of lyrics into his records and live performances ranging from high energy to laid back, deep, emotional or conscious. Hip hop has and always will be the main form of inspiration for One Truly Inspired Soul, and in return, OTIS hopes to inspire anyone willing to listen.
