David Ricardo is an italian Producer/DJ and musician, who moved to the UK after the mentorship in 2013 by the today’s founder & owner of Circoloco /DC10 Antonio Carbonaro. David started his career from the underground side of dance music with releases on some of the most prestigious labels in the Industry, such as TOOLROOM Records, CR2, CUFF, ABODE Records, and appearance on major International stages such as the Steel Yard in London and frequent guests on Mambo’s Brothers CAFE MAMBO Radio (IBIZA). In 2019 he literally smashed the Beatport charts with a #5 and #3 for his collaboration records “TONITE” and “TRIPPIN” on both of the most respected and influential Beatport charts : Beatport Hype top 100 / Beatport Top 100 Releases. The encounter with EDM super star Bass Kleph in 2019 at the Amsterdam Dance Event was that crucial for David that after finishing the LA Music Production Academy ‘The Road To The Main Stage’, he decided to take on a music project called ‘GARDEN’, which brings together Hip-Hop, R&B, Afro-Beat, Latin, Caribbean flavours into one style who David defines as ‘Pop Moombahton’. Its a celebration of each style & genre, creating a bridge between its more traditional origins while also exploring remixes, fusions and new sounds.
