dot cox studied jazz violin in Sydney, Australia and film music composition in Paris, France. She now lives in a farmhouse in the French countryside where she plays the piano, writes music, and enjoys the company of a friendly egret (known as Egret Bergman). Throughout 2019, she will be releasing a series of collaborations with some of her favourite singers, including Inga Liljeström, Melanie Horsnell, Chris Kenna and Ciska Ruitenberg. She is also the violinist for Elliott Murphy, Kenna & Cox, and The Downtown Merrylegs (among others), and has written string arrangements for numerous albums, including Black Sesame and John Ulysses Mitchell.
