Melodican is a multi instrumentalist, producer, performer and label partner at Astro Melody Records. Once a part of the Studio One stable, in New York, Melodican has recorded and released music for the late Coxsone Dodd. He has also performed and toured with a multitude of reggae artist in the USA. Hailing from Dominican Republic and cutting his teeth in the gritty NYC musical landscape he is a seasoned veteran in the music industry. Melodican has released two full length albums of classical music, played in reggae where he produced, performed, engineered and mastered all the tracks. He also remixed a track for Dubmatix that garnered much acclaim. His latest track “Conquering Lion” showcases his prowess on his ever present melodica. A heavyweight steppers vibe, Conquering Lion is a solid track. He also co-produced along with his label mate and co label owner DJ Astro Black two projects that received worldwide recognition.
