Lifa Yengwa is a Cape Town based music DJ/producer.He is popularly known by his stage name “Dj Lifa” as well his music tag “Noba’ yntoni nkosyam uLif’ ukhona” from his mixes and songs he produced.He started his producing career in 2020 in Gansbaai then relocated to Kraaifontein where he groomed his Djying skills.He is focused on producing Gqom music,an African Electronic Dance Music that has received hiss history of Cape Town & Durban.Since the beginning of his career in 2020 he has played in 1 event that was hosted by Danger Point I&J for their end year function and played in a few clubs including The Living Room,Medusa Lounge and at Kennedys.In 2023 Dj Lifa underwent a Dj course where he obtained a certificate in Dj Fundamendals. Dj Lifa’s music career was fuelled by the inspiration of Chustar,till to date he is still inspired by him and he has been growing tremendously. Dj Lifa has so far released 3 EPs in his career & 1 album titled Hidden Talent that was released in 2020,1 EP titled Definition of Noba Y’ntoni in 2021,1 EP titled Have Faith in 2022 both released under Royal Sounds Musiq & 1 EP titled Gqom Series in 2023 released and published under new management,Yibhoza Entertainment that has bred the likes of Sherman Yibhoza,Simvu,Lazola The Vocalist and many more.He is an artist with a promising future,who has worked with the likes of Chustar,Aries Rose,Da Luuh,TheGqomBoss,Assertive Fam,IV Takzah,Busko The Vocalist among the list & many more other upcoming artists.
