Moni'ye, Son of Yoni & Adidi, is a first generation Ethiopian- Eritrean American Artist, born and raised in Arlington, TX. After graduating college, he quickly moved to Austin, TX where he has spent the last 6 years building his creative identity and community. Moni'ye is a songwriter, rapper, singer, producer/ exec producer, creative director, event organizer who began his creative career through music (Alt Hip Hop/ R&B). Over the years he has evolved into a Multi-Disciplined artist as he draws inspiration from a variety of sounds and genres, all in effort to accurately articulate his own introspection. His most recent project See You Soon (2023), primarily self produced and executive produced, incorporates smooth melodies, ear candy details, and story telling lyrics. Moni'ye is also 1/2 of Think Less, Feel More (TL:FM), a Retro Modern, Pop/R&B Duo with Producer 10pmtoclose. Furthermore, Moni'ye is also a Co-Founder of HUBBLEDVISION; a creative platform and collective dedicated to artist discovery, community building, and creating memorable event experiences and opportunities for all different types of creatives.
