Biography

Born in Sagunto (Valencia) in 1986. He graduated from the Conservatorio Superior de Valencia in orchestral and choral conducting, and in piano studies. Francesc Gamón expanded his studies at well-recognized institutions such as the Academia Chigiana de Siena (Italia), and in numerous courses and masterclasses with professors such as Harry Christophers, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Pablo Heras-Casado, etc. Since 2007, he has been choral director of the Chamber Choir Ad Libitum of the Escola Coral Veus Juntes with which he has achieved some of the most prestigious national awards. Focusing on ancient music, in 2013 he founded the specialized ensemble L’Arcadia. In 2017, he co-conducted the World Premiere of the opera La Bréche, by De Zeegant, with the Hulencourt Symphony Orchestra & Choir of Brussels. Recently, Francesc Gamon has been assistant conductor to Aarón Zapico in the production of the opera Rinaldo by Händel. Francesc combines his activity as a music performer with teaching at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia, where he is responsible for music conducting in opera workshops. www.francescgamon.com
