ThinkFishTank is the moniker of multi-genre electronic producer, DJ, and visual artist Steve Corning. Taking inspiration from every decade and sub-genre of electronic music, and his passion for storytelling, TFT explores the themes of American culture through dance music, instrumental hip-hop, and everything in between. His creative process involves extensive sampling of retro media, layering elements from dozens of sources together and combining them with original compositions. TFT's passion for sampling is also highlighted in his live performances, which include visuals showcasing the 100s of sample sources within his music. Major releases include 4 self-published albums: "Breakfast at Midnight" (2012), "Fully Functional" (2015), "Moments" (2018), and after a 6-year hiatus, ThinkFishTank released his most ambitious album yet, titled "What's Your Vice?" in 2024.
