Module is my musical project, born out of a love for all things to do with bass, but specifically drum and bass. The name Module resonated with me because of the weird funky modular kinds of sounds I tend to create My first release on here was my 2 track Soundboy EP, which really set the tone of what type of tunes were to come from me afterwards. It was the first time I’d made a couple tunes and thought to myself that they could actually do well, and they did! Then along came Fernquest, when he approached me asking if I had any tunes for him to MC on, I just knew I had to send him this one particular beat. In the end, Supersonic was the result and for me it’s my own favourite release, he absolutely killed it on the vocals. The biggest moment for me so far has been releasing an EP on Grid Recordings (Sausage Roller EP), they’re one of my all time favourite labels so I was absolutely honoured to release those 6 tracks. I first tried to produce music when I was around 12, but gave up as I didn’t have the time or money to actually get good at it. But then covid came along and I found myself very bored, so decided to get back into it and I’m so glad I did, it was the best decision I ever made. This is just the start of the journey as Module, and I hope you stick with me for the rest of it as I’ve got so many more good tunes in the locker waiting to be released!
