ZBit's journey began in the vibrant underground house music scene of Edmonton, Alberta, during the early to mid-2000s. After attending his first Shambhala Music Festival in 2007, he was profoundly inspired and knew he wanted to become a DJ, sharing his passion with that incredible crowd. The very next week, he invested in a set of Technics vinyl turntables and a pair of Pioneer CDJ 800s. Drawing from the tail end of the Ministry of Sound vinyl era, ZBit meticulously crafted his signature electro house sound, a style that continues to influence his productions today. Having performed at numerous clubs across E-Town and supported some of his favorite headliners, ZBit decided to hit the “Dusty” trail and make his way to the Okanagan in British Columbia. This move proved transformative, fueling his growth as a producer and bringing him closer to Shambhala. His dream of performing at the festival materialized when he secured bookings at the renowned Pagoda Stage in both 2019 and 2022. Now a household name in the Western Canadian festival scene, this seasoned artist relentlessly seeks new avenues for growth.
