allo pl is the solo project of Flamingos in the Tree lead singer and guitarist Daniel Escovar. This project started in 2020 when Daniel and his brother sunday orange decided to create experimental, psychedelic music in their childhood home in Los Angeles, CA. “allo pl,” is pronounced [alō | plase]. Daniel has defined the project’s title as “a particular point in space, and state of being other; different.” This project seems to differentiate itself from Flamingos in the Tree with a generally darker tone and an alternative twist on the sound. Currently based out of Northern California.
