Naila Aroni, known as NAiLA, is a writer, musician, and visual artist hailing from Nairobi, Kenya, and currently based in London. Her art transcends traditional boundaries, seamlessly merging the realms of art, music, and literature. Her work is featured in notable platforms, including Pitchfork, OkayAfrica and Bubblegum Club. NAiLA's music is a reflection of the diverse spectrum of Black musical genres, drawing inspiration from Neo Soul, R&B, Pop, Afropop, and Alté. With a keen interest in fostering Afrodiasporic connections, she has recently collaborated with prominent figures in the alternative, African music scene, such as mau from nowhere and Tim Lyre.
