Black Hills, South Dakota Beatmaker/Rapper/Singer/Guitar player During the summer of 2001 living on a military base in Okinawa, Japan, Zachary Brown set out to join his first band. Approaching freshman year of high school he co-fronted Tenebrous Portrait and later started thrash metal band Genghis Khan as well as being featured in multiple bands in the area. The urge to create music and perform onstage was quite unstoppable. After graduating he decided to reconnect with his father moving to Rapid City, SD. It took him quite some time to get accustomed and ended up trekking to the town of Lead to play guitar for Source of Solace in 2008. Missing being a frontman, he was sent away with many blessings to start Taste My Sword. The song writing was more personal and once they strayed from their glam rock meets Machine Head influence with a disasterous street show, Zach lost interest in all creation. It wasn't until his daughter entered the picture, he decided to reinvent himself. Hip Hop became a major part of his life, he started writing guitar licks in place of what would be samples. The trio Spook.e.lectiV was soon born with sonic flare. He would start going by the name of Zeis and 70's Soul would become a major influence in his guitar playing. After the colorful revolving door of members came and went, Zeis wanted to go full force with beatmaking and rapping. After several manic episodes he gave birth to his first album, Zen is My Approximation.
