Drawing upon cinematic scores and the evocative landscape of post-rock, Faux Tales constructs a world with a core bound together by emotive sub-bass, where momentous synths roam, and flickers of reversed foley, vocals and percussive elements resemble shattered reflections in zero gravity. Swiss composer and producer Timo Loosli creates otherworldly, cinematic soundscapes, adopting a more longform approach in his upcoming album, Reflections, compared to his previous work. Writing his third full-length album began with the conception of ideas, loops, and skeletal tracks using hardware synthesisers, drum machines, and more esoteric sound generators and processors. The writing process, which unfolded over a year and a half, was patient and deliberate, allowing the music to breathe.
