"The ultimate Hip Hop performance collective" I Am Hip Hop Magazine And What? is a a collective hellbent on providing the world with forward thinking and accessible music events, celebrating music of black origin and fusing the styles that have evolved from it's lineage as often as possible in live and recorded settings. The crew is made up of musicians, DJs, MCs, & videographers formed in 2015 and based in London. Featuring the like of Charlie Dax Isaac B Ohno Da French The Orbalist Antonia Carrena Our events celebrate the eclecticism of music of black origin in all it’s forms; with MCing, live music, improvisation and cross-genre collaborations a big feature at our events. We host a number of varied live music events and clubnights around the capital as well as our own community festival, held in the centre of Brixton, South London. We've hosted our own stage at Noisily festival in 2017 and featured at the Breakin Convention Park Jam and Les Tropikantes festival in Paris last year. Pivoted in 2020 to launch our Freestyle Alchemy live stream series across Twitch, the continuation of the ROTMC podcast and providing you with vibes across Threads and TheFace radio.
