During his first year of college, Chxll found his calling as a rapper, songwriter, and producer. After realizing his passion for crafting records in his head, he made it his mission to create a studio in his dorm to bring these ideas to fruition. 
 Raised on the south side of Chicago, Caleb Hill found his love for a wide range of music at a young age. He explored more at the age of nine as he began to play the piano. Just a few months in, he was already arranging his own compositions. This quickly came to a halt once his parents separated. Moving around his entire life, Caleb found it difficult focus on music while managing school and living in such violent circumstances within his city. After his studio equipment was stolen one summer into college. With his back against the wall, Caleb left school and decided to take a chance on himself in the music business. 
 A year of working for free at studios and production companies in his home-town landed Caleb a position as the traveling engineer/producer for G-Herbo. After being in sessions with 21Savage, Polo G, and other major acts, Caleb saw the possibilities within music first-hand. He then dubbed himself Chxll and took a shot at creating his own records again. 
 After locking in the studio to create a vault of songs, Chxll strategized and planned a flood of music to push out to the world. October 16th, 2020, he released his first single “Change.” This is the day he vowed to never look back to his old life again.
