From his lyrical content for the ladies with “Swim” and entrepreneurial ambition with his new company, Legendary Pups, Ky’Lee moves with style and grace uncovering the true essence of Hip-Hop. After facing a harsh reality when his mother, Jamila T. Davis, known writer and activist, was sentenced to over a decade in federal prison, Ky’Lee utilized her perspective of business management to embark on his music career while aiming to mirror Davis’s hustle. His talent and consistent skills afforded him the opportunity to open for PnB Rock which revealed he was a natural, live performer. While aspiring for more, Ky’Lee commits to a career beyond the records. He is the artist, creative director and visionary tapping into other elements of his artistic process. Ky’Lee aims to be a voice of truth and reason for his supporters while educating his listeners on ownership as a Black entrepreneur.
