Dreamie Darkö is a 21 year old rapper based in Santa Barbara County, California. He started off making “Playboi Carti” and “Pierre Bourne” type beats on YouTube back in 2018. After not getting the recognition he wanted, he thought that he could be something more than just a music producer. In 2019, he bought a microphone bundle off of Amazon and started mixing and recording himself on his and other peoples beats and that’s where the “Dreamie Darkö” we know today truly started. 
 “I have a lot of dreams. Some grand ideas that most people think aren’t achievable. That’s where I got ‘Dreamy’ from” He states. “My favorite movie at the time and it still is one of my favorite movies of all time was Donnie Darko. I felt so connected to that movie. It was everything I could ever want in a film. Funny, dark, creepy, confusing. It had it all.” He continues: “There was a game I use to play as a kid called ‘Brütal Legend’. You play as a fictionalize Jack Black and kill monsters with an electric guitar. S*** was so badass. But, that’s where I got the “Ö” from.” 
 Dreamie infuses his love of Pop Punk, Rock and Nu Metal with his passion for Hip Hop, Rap, and Trap. His vocal performances fluctuates from crunchy, angsty and aggressive to soothing, angelic and sometimes pretty. Some of his inspirations musically are the likes of Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Paramore, Evanescence & Linkin Park. Dreamie is on his way to become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
