This day has finally come - our recording of The Seasons by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky arranged by Alexander Goedicke in 1944 for piano trio is now online. A rather spontaneous recording session in Studio Sequenza by three good old friends - violinist Artiom Shishkov, cellist Dima Tsypkin, and pianist Sergey Smirnov, which was full of improvisations and experiments thanks to and in collaboration with Phonomatik Lab and its founder Paul Thomas (here you must not forget about binaural technology that was used during recording process) - it has finally become available to users of streaming platforms. Some of you might notice that the digital release is different from the CD that was available earlier and included works not only by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky but also Pavel Karmanov. Yes, that's right, for the digital release we divided the album into two parts - the first one will be released, or more precisely, the first part with Tchaikovsky has already been released! Well, the second part with Karmanov’s music, we hope, will also become available very soon. We will make an announcement when it happens.
