Remy Banks has always had a way with the mic. From his beginnings in the rap group, Children of the Night to his duty as frontman of the Queens super crew World's Fair, Remy's unique style combines classic golden era boom-bap with futuristic sounds that the NYC rap scene has never come across. Born in Jamaica, Queens and raised in Forest Hills, Remy has seen many sides of his hometown borough. His versatile style, both on and off the microphone, exemplify this multifaceted perspective. "Growing up I was all over Queens. Bayside to Southside. Long Island City to Hollis. I embraced the whole borough." Remy met his Worlds Fair co-stars at the age of 19. "We all grew up together one way or another so we started a conglomerate and gave it a name.' With the help of Remy's undeniable persona and the groups uncanny ability to rock the stage, World's Fair had the spotlight shining on Queens. After the successful release of the crew's first album "Bastards of the Party," under Fools Gold Records, Remy knew his time was next. Remy's first solo project was "higher." after the collective's debut. He has since released "champ hoody music. ep.1", "champ hoody music. ep. 2", "did this in detroit.", "the phantom of paradise." and has a plethora of new material ready to be released with the latest being "champ hoody music. ep. 3" released on March 8th.
