Léo Espinosa was born in Santa Clara, Cuba. He studied and graduated from the Professional School of Art Instructors (EPIA) as a teacher of electric bass and ensemble practice. In Cuba, he was bassist for: Charanga Armonía de Carlos, Hot Sugar Band and Xiomara Laugart. After moving to Europe he collaborated with artists such as: Thierry Elias, Paulo Flores, Steward Sukuma, Nancy Vieira, Lura, Ivan Lins, Miroca Paris, Manecas Costa, Paulo de Carvalho, Victor Zamora, Luis Represas, Vitorino, Antonio Chainho, Tito Paris, Aline Frazão, Agir ,Munir Hossn ,Marcelo D2, Ricardo Toscano, Maria João, etc. He is a Specialist in Bioneuroemocíon @ (Humanistic method for emotional management and personal development) Creator , arranger and composer . He is the creator of Beat in Feet: A practical session inspired by the musical methodologies developed by Émile Jacques-Dalcroze, Álvaro Julio Agudelo Díaz Del Castillo and the BAPNE methodology. Which constitute a reference in terms of the relationship between attention, movement and body percussion and their use in musical pedagogies.
