Biography

As an aspiring film and media composer, Itamar takes his compositions for film and theater and gives them new colors with his first EP 'ReTake'. From the intense and fierce story of Greek mythology's “Medea home” to the warm embrace of lovers in “Princess lullaby”, Itamar captures the essence for each of his original compositions and gives them a new Jazz flare. Featuring friends from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance- Soprano Sax - Guy Milles Trombone - Nimrod Katz Upright Bass - Tom Chadash Drum set - Daniel Karni Itamar is a multi-disciplinary musician, focusing primarily in film and theater, as well as jazz and orchestral music. Currently a second year in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the multi- disciplinary composition department, Itamar aims to develop his own voice combining a wide variety of styles such as Jazz, Classical, Traditional Arabic, Fusion and more. As a pianist and violinist, Itamar Graduated Kiryat Ono Conservatory in Jazz piano with honors. Currently studies violin under Maestro Gilad Hildesheim and is a Concert Meister of The Arab Jewish Orchestra. Along with his studies, Itamar teaches and arranges for ensembles and big bands at Blich High School, as well as teaches Piano at the Kiryat Ono conservatory. He volunteers as a music director at an organization for inclusion of people with disabilities in the community.
