Ardra is an extreme metal band from the Bay Area. They released their first full-length album in 2020, titled Unto Leviathan. Their second album, Nausea, was released on June 9, 2023. Nausea pushes the band into some unfamiliar territory, featuring a more cohesive narrative, vocal mashing, and a streamlined band lineup. However, it still pivots on tight musicianship and transitions (FFO: Misery Signals, Norma Jean), wide soundscapes (FFO: Behemoth, Deathspell Omega), and melodic flair (FFO: In Flames).
